Breaking the rules!

 I usually make it a rule to only do one cake a week, but this week I had to make some exceptions to that rule. When special people ask, I just can't say no! Briley, according to my son Logan, is the cutest baby ever! Which, apart from my three of course, I just might agree! Briley is the daughter of a friend whom I truly cherish, I was so excited to make her first birthday cake.

The cakes are all chocolate with pink buttercream frosting.

The bows are a gumpaste and fondant mixture painted with silver luster dust and vanilla to make them sparkle.  All other decorations are fondant.
