Throwbacks to my childhood-Strawberry shortcake

I love making cakes for friends of friends. I love that people see my work and taste my cakes and want one for their kiddos. Even more I love cartoons from my childhood that have been made new again! This Strawberry Shortcake cake was a compilation of several other cakes that became one. This cake was the first time I made a strawberry flavored cake, and let me tell you it was YUMMY!
